Frequently Asked Questions About Fence Installation

Fence permit requirements vary depending on your township, borough, and the type of fence being installed. The good news? Absolute Fencing handles the necessary fencing permits for you! We work with local municipalities, coordinate utility marking through PA 811, and assist with HOA approval requirements when needed. Our goal is to make your fence installation as stress-free as possible.

Fence installation costs depend on several factors, including the type of material, total length, fence height, number of gates, and your property’s layout. Vinyl privacy fencing and aluminum fencing have different pricing considerations, and slopes or custom designs can also affect the total cost.

At Absolute Fencing, we offer competitive pricing and can help you find a fencing solution that fits your needs and budget. You can even design your fence and get a preliminary estimate online!

The best fence for your dog depends on its size, breed, and behavior. Vinyl privacy fencing is a popular choice for homeowners who want a solid barrier that also provides backyard privacy. Aluminum fencing is another great option for secure containment while maintaining an open view.

At Absolute Fencing, we consider your pets when recommending fence heights, styles, and gate options. Whether you have a small dog or a large, energetic breed, we’ll help you choose a fence that works for your family.

Absolutely! We install aluminum and vinyl pool fencing for homeowners throughout Lancaster County and surrounding Pennsylvania communities.

Pool fencing must meet applicable safety codes, which can include specific requirements for fence height, spacing, gates, and self-closing or self-latching hardware. Our team can help you select an attractive pool fence designed to meet your property’s applicable requirements while complementing your backyard.

Installation time depends on the size of your property, the fence material, terrain, weather conditions, and any custom features. Smaller, straightforward projects may take less installation time than larger or more complex fencing projects.

Scheduling also depends on permit approvals, material availability, and the season. At Absolute Fencing, we communicate with you throughout the process so you know what to expect before installation begins.

Both are excellent, low-maintenance fencing options, but the best choice depends on your goals.

Vinyl fencing is ideal for homeowners looking for privacy, durability, and a variety of styles and colors. Aluminum fencing provides a classic, open appearance and is popular for pool enclosures, property boundaries, and decorative applications.
